Common questions
How are strokes calculated?
Playing handicaps come off the low ball — the lowest handicap in the group plays at scratch and everyone else carries the difference. On each hole, strokes are settled relative to the Banker in each individual matchup, allocated by the course's stroke index. The full rules are in the app under Rules.
Do I need an account?
No. The app works fully offline without signing in. An account only adds saved round history and syncing across devices.
How do other players watch my round?
Every round shows a code at the top of the scoring screen. Anyone with the app can tap "Watch a round" on the start screen, enter that code, and follow the live summary.
How do I add my course?
On the setup screen choose Manual entry, name the course, and set each hole's par and stroke index. It saves automatically, so you only ever do it once per course — after that it appears under Saved.
Can I fix a score after moving on?
Yes. Open the Summary tab and tap any hole's row to jump straight back to it. All money totals recalculate instantly.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so cancel in the Settings app: tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions, then Banker. You keep full access until the end of the period you've already paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
I subscribed but a new phone says I'm not subscribed
Open the account screen and tap "Restore purchases" while signed into the same Apple ID you bought it with. That re-checks with the App Store and unlocks the app.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, tap the account button, scroll to the Danger zone, and choose Delete account permanently. This immediately removes the account and every saved round.
